This year at the county shows, the Raise Em Up Foundation delivered information to Chapter Advisors that introduced a new initiative open to all chapters. At the Round-up, the Foundation will be awarding a $1,000 Educational Grant to one chapter.



The Educational Grant is intended to help further the Raise ‘Em Up Foundation’s philosophy to help students and teachers in Agriculture related activities with the funding they need to raise the bar on the education experience that is provided and received. This award is to be used at the discretion of the educational leader in their local chapter.


To be eligible for the Educational Grant, the chapter must do the following by April 1, 2019 (all steps must be met):


1. Register.   The process starts by letting it be known that the chapter intends to be in the running for the grant. To do this, contact the Raise 'Em Up Foundation and indicate intention to be in the running.
2. Show Up.   A minimum of 10 adults of current members of the respective organization must RSVP for the Raise ‘em Up Round-Up. When entering, please indicate what Chapter you are representing so we may confirm the minimum attendance requirement.
3. Be committed.   The Organization MUST provide a minimum of ONE project that was made by students for the LIVE Auction at the event.

All eligible chapters will have an equal chance of being awarded the grant. The award will be made at the Raise 'Em Up Round-Up on April 13, 2019 and the Foundation will make arrangements with the educational leader on how it is to be delivered.
